Business intelligence (BI) expert and author Laura Madsen wrote Healthcare Business Intelligence, due out later this month from Wiley. In the book, Madsen stresses to health care providers that maintaining data quality as it's piped through systems -- despite variable interoperability between those systems -- is the key to getting quality analytics from clinical data.
