More than 300 educational sessions covering all aspects of health IT will be presented at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society annual conference in Orlando, Fla., from Feb. 23 to 27. HIMSS 2014 will host more than 300 educational sessions covering all aspects of health IT, including mobile health, data interoperability and clinical and business intelligence.
Presenters will share their ideas on the use of healthcare technology and speak about current policies and potential reform. In addition, more than 1,200 exhibitors will be on the conference floor sharing their products and lessons learned from various health IT technology implementations. The impending ICD-10 and meaningful use stage 2 deadlines are sure to be among the major topics causing buzz at the conference.
