Is Google Health, the company's personal health record (PHR) service, making a comeback? After shoveling dirt on Google Health's grave last May, health IT analyst John Moore of Chilmark Research was invited by Google to get a sneak preview of the company's newly redesigned PHR service. The redesign places a greater focus on tracking personal health and fitness stats, while still keeping track of more traditional metrics, such as allergies and medications.
In part 2 of this two-part podcast, Moore offers his thoughts on Google Health's extreme makeover. Does Google hit the mark? What does the future hold for PHR services in general? Hear what this health IT industry analyst has to say in our exclusive podcast.
