According to Chilmark Research, mHealth isn't being used for patient engagement -- yet. We interview founder John Moore about his latest findings.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- John Moore, founder of HIT analyst firm Chilmark Research, announced his latest report, "mHealth Adoption for Provider-Patient Engagement" at the Datapalooza show, where vendors were trying to do just that: Find new ways to get patients active in using their own health data to drive better outcomes.

His findings? The bumper sticker is that mHealth, to hospitals at least, is more of a marketing tool than a quality improvement tool -- for now. Listen to the podcast to see how and when he thinks that will change, based on his in-depth interviews with providers.
