Stephen Gantz, CISSP-ISSAP, CEH, CGEIT, CRISC CIPP/G, C|CISO is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School at UMUC, where he teaches in the Information Assurance program, and serves as the Vice President of Health Reform for a health IT services firm providing system integration, software development, consulting, and other IT services to state and federal health agencies. He is also a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Management program at UMUC, focusing his research on trust frameworks, privacy and security models, and technologies necessary to overcome distrust among organizations to enable greater levels of information sharing and collaboration on achieving common goals and objectives. Prof. Gantz holds a Masters Degree in technology policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, as well as a Bachelors degree in applied mathematics and statistics from Harvard.
