Bio: Florian Becker is the Director of the Citrix Worldwide Consulting Solutions Team, which is the corporate entity of Citrix Consulting Services.
Prior to joining Citrix, Florian led the patient management application for one of the major healthcare IT vendors (Epic Systems, Inc.), where his role included product management, software development, technical services, and implementation services. He led the master patient index implementations on some of the largest healthcare IT projects in the world. He is six sigma green belt trained and certified in various clinical and practice management healthcare IT systems.
Florian's current team focuses on practice development for Citrix Consulting and partners, cross product integrations, the Solution Center (technical white papers) and System Integrator practice development. Florian has been a prominent speaker at iForum, Synergy and Citrix Summit in the US and abroad.
In his free time, Florian is an avid aviator and holds the commercial pilot ratings for gliders, single- and multi-engine airplanes. He is a certified flight instructor and the chief pilot of the Pompano Beach Flying Club.
