 Making possible usage of the Microsoft Kinect
After looking at few videos of the new uses of the Microsoft (Xbox 360) Kinect, it made me wonder what could the potentials be for using such a smart device in the healthcare industry?

There are several areas where gaming and healthcare intersect. Certain patients benefit from games. Full body gaming opens up additional opportunities in health care (that the Nintendo Wii introduced) so it should be interesting to see what Kinect has to offer.

Microsoft submitted this summer a patent for Gesture Keyboard, this means that they have definitely intended to use this device for more than just gaming. Physical therapy, sign language interpretation, windows 7 control and possibly more things.
