Answer Wiki:
I have worked with those systems in the past, I can try to help if you let me know the the type of integration as well as your current workflow challenge. Please feel free to post your request or email. There are applications that can deliver the dictation automatically into the patients records within the EMR. Feel free to contact me for more information.

Using Epic 2010 and Citrix 6.0 technology. We have an Dragon enterprise wide unlimited user license and currently about 30 end-users. This implementation is slated for 2800 concurrent users. For this Epic integration we will be migrating the Dragon implementation from a GE-based EMR to the Epic-based EMR. The Dragon integration with Epic is standard, but we are implementing Citrix. To publish Dragon on Citrix takes us from 200 Dragon users per Server to 30 users.

Since we are using Epic, their Hyperspace implementation requires a Citrix publication. So it seems like we have to publish Dragon on Citrx which whittles us down from a 200:1 to 30:1 implementation. Both Epic and Citrix are considering web-based technologies which will allow us to scale the Dragon application back up to 200:1 or better.

Any thoughts or experience in such an offering would be greatly appreciated.
