Benefits and pitfalls of mobile imaging
During the video segment regarding Game Changing Mobile Health Applications, on the Dell Empowers site (www.dellempowers.com), the expert briefly discussed mobile imaging. Does anyone have additional feedback on what types of applications are currently available for mobile imaging? Also, some insights on the potential benefits and pitfalls for those applications would be helpful.

Answer Wiki:
I think from Dell's perspective, the video is most likely discussing the ability to use DELL infrastructure to support mobile health. These technologies can be storage, wireless, security and other products that DELL can provide. But as far as mobile imaging, DELL does not sell or design healthcare products. If you are looking for examples you can google iPad / Android DICOM viewer and you will be able to find some of the products currently available that support mobile imaging. Of course, there is a device from GE that actually does US (ultrasounds) which is a mobile device as well.
