Tablets help clinicians gain productive hours

A reader responds to a recent SearchHealthIT article on the benefits of tablet use in clinical settings.

Editor's note: SearchHealthIT.com received this feedback in response to the article iPad EHR growth spurt, BYOD security evolving. It has been edited for style but not for content.

I loved your article on tablet use; the first thing that really caught my eye was the average usage of 2.4 hours -- with 1.2 hours of gained productivity. We so often hear how EHR use slows the clinician. I agree, tablets are excellent for patient education!
